What is Meditation?
“Meditation is an art of Wasting time without Guilt”
Meditation is a tool for true realization of ourself. In Meditation we are going in to meditative state. Meditative state is thoughtless awareness. Thoughtless awareness means you are awake and you don’t have any thought in your mind.
“Meditation should not be a torture. It must be fun! Start small. Five to ten minutes a day is a great start!”

Benefits of Meditation:
There are lots of benefits of Meditation but I want to share my own experience with meditation. I am doing meditation from last few years and on the basis of my experience I want to share these benefits of meditation…
- My awareness level increased and I started living more in present Moment.
- I can control my Anger and irritation very easily.
- My Observational power has tremendously increased. (Conscious level increased).
- Before taking any decision now i am thinking for other’s point of view (means taking care of others also).
- My Concentration power has also increased ,So i suggested to all students please do meditation at least 10 min daily.
- I am enjoying every area of my Life due to Meditation.
- Major change that i observed is that I came to know about my hidden talent that is Writing , I wrote many thoughts on Health, Wealth, Spirituality & Mind.
Negative Effects of Meditation or Side effects of Meditation:
Everything has two faces one is positive and another one is Negative. Many people tells you about positive points of meditation but there are also some negative points of meditation.
1-Meditation is just a tool don’t be greedy for seeing different things. Many people don’t stop themselves for doing Meditation.
2– You can’t be angry on anyone. Example: If your workers are not doing work without aggression then don’t do meditation.
3- You can’t tell a lie if that lie is giving loss to anyone. Example: If you are selling the flats of a builder and that builder is not providing good quality then you can’t sell it.
4-You can’t hurt anyone so if you are a Butcher then don’t do meditation.
Step by Step guide for Meditation:
This is one of the best meditation for beginners technique. Here I shared a Sandeep Maheshwari meditation technique or You can say that Ear plug meditation technique / Inner sound meditation technique. You will get inner peace by doing this Meditation.
There are 5 easy steps to hear your inner sound:
Step1. Find a comfortable sitting position
Find a quiet space where you can relax. Sit in a cross-legged position or on a chair. Your spine should be straight in a relaxed manner.
Step2. Insert the ear plugs and close your eyes
You can get it from your nearby chemist shop (just Rs.15). If in case you don’t get it from anywhere then you can use earphones/cotton.
Step3. Take 10 deep breaths
Breathe in slowly, easily and deeply and then breathe out slowly, easily and deeply. Start reverse counting with each outgoing breath (and no counting with incoming breath). You may do reverse counting from 10 to 0, decreasing the count by one each outgoing breath.
Step4. Simply listen to your inner sounds
Bring your attention to your inner sound without judging them. There is absolutely no need to put pressure on you. Be calm. Just listen and enjoy!
Step5. Don’t go to your thoughts. Let them come to you
Whenever your mind wanders off, simply bring your attention back to hearing. You will find that once you start to hear inner sounds, gradually the mind will cease its activities.

Note: You can do meditation at any Time but Early morning time is recommended by many experts. But you can do it at your suitable time..
Alpha level Music for Meditation:
You can also do meditation with Alpha level music sound track. Alpha level music are also known as meditation music sound track which helps you to reach the Alpha level very easily. Alpha level is best for meditation .
In alpha level our brain frequency is 7 to 14 hz, which is good for Meditation and in this level there is a direct connection between Conscious and Subconscious mind.
How do I meditate regularly?
I am doing meditation by above mention both Ear plug & Alpha level music technique. I am doing it from few years so I don’t need Ear plug for listening the inner sound.
When I am at home then I meditate normally in sukasana without any ear plug or headphones. But I do meditation in Cab also so I used headphones for listening the Alpha level music .Everyday I am doing it at least 20 minutes.
If you are starting it then start with 5 minutes, after 7 days do for 10 minutes and when you are comfortable with it then do at least 20 minutes a day daily.
Vision for Schools:
In my opinion meditation must be compulsory for students in school. As it has many benefits for growth of mind and life. Instead of giving the punishment to students, Send them in a meditation room for 20 minutes and tell them to do Meditation. It will definitively change their life.
